Small Dogon pirogue
The Dogon are a people renowned for their cosmogony, their esotericism, their myths and legends concerned, to the assault by the outside world in search of culture and tourism.
The population is estimated at about 300,000 souls living south-west of the Niger bend near Mopti, Mali (Bandiagara, Koro, Banka), near Douentza and part of the North of Burkina (North west Ouahigouya ).
